The small woven tote is the perfect size for just the essentials and comes in an eye-catching mezzy zebra pattern in sand and black.

These ecologically conscious bags are handwoven from upcycled industrial plastics. Crafted by a small team of women, each bag takes 2-8 days to complete.

Kaleya sources these bags from Blue Leopard, a small social enterprise based in Zambia’s capital. The women of Blue Leopard are single or widowed caregivers, most of whom have had limited access to education and other means of economic mobility in their lives. Blue Leopard seeks to empower these women with artisan training and the opportunity to work from home, making it possible for these women to provide the care their families and communities depend on, while also supporting themselves economically.

Given the nature of production, all bags are one of a kind and will have slight variations in the exact design.

  • Returns

    Returns are accepted on all purchases if initiated within 10 days of delivery.

    To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

    1. Email hello@shopkaleya.com with your order number and description of items you wish to return or exchange.

    2. Send your item(s) back. Unless items are somehow defective, Kaleya will not cover return shipping costs.

    3. When returned items are received Kaleya will initiate a full refund via original method of payment within 24 hours.
